Heart of the City gives a HEARTfelt thank you to Shambaugh Electrical Contractors for updating a broken disconnect switch on one of the A/C units on the roof of the Cass Street building.

During the hot months of a Midwest summer, Heart of the City is a place for families to enjoy a reprieve from the summer heat, utilize our laundry services or acquire necessities from our Food Pantry & Provisions program.

Proper working A/C units allow our cold storage units to work properly ensuring The Food Rescue Program can continue serving our families and organizations in Fort Wayne to reduce food insecurity.

Without the expertise and donated time from Shambaugh, Heart of the City would not be able to maintain operations as efficiently.
